I know that no two people are the same, and I tailor my approach to meet you as an individual. I know personally that finding the right therapist and approach can be confusing and sometimes stressful, which is why you can arrange a telephone call to talk through any queries you have and what approach may suit your needs.

About Life On Dreams

Life on Dreams is the home of Sarah Hopton’s independent psychotherapy, counselling & wellbeing practise based at Errisbeg House, Barton-under-Needwood, Burton-on-Trent DE13 8EB.

At Life on dreams, no two people are treated the same. I tailor my approach to meet you as an individual. I know personally that finding the right therapist and approach can be confusing & sometimes stressful, which is why you can arrange a telephone call to talk through any queries you have and find an approach that may suit your needs.
My Practice is:
In everything I do, I try to be kind, respectful and ethical in my relationship with you. I believe the quality of the relationship between therapist and client will lead to the most successful outcome for the client. At Life on Dreams, I am committed to good emotional, psychological, and mental health for all. I established Life on Dreams in 2011 after a lengthy and credible career working within a number of organisations including addiction treatment centres. An accepting relationship provides the security for you to connect with what you are really feeling, however, difficult, and painful. Being able to trust your therapist to stay with you as you give voice to what you are feeling is at the heart of what I do. I work relationally and collaboratively with each client to support your therapeutic goals.

Over time, Life on Dreams has become a hub for other psychotherapy and related offerings, including services offered by associate professionals with the similar outlook, ethics and values. Who can offer different, complementary skills that may be able to help clients to improve their situation.

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP Accrd.) and an Accredited Professional with National Counselling Society ( MNCS Prof. Accred) and through these I am accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). I work one-on-one with clients using a relationally-orientated, narrative approach.
Seeking Support
Taking the step to ask for help, to make sense of things, to book in to see a therapist is a big deal.

We often seek independent help when our problems feel overwhelming, when we can’t see a way forward, feel ashamed or have lost sense of who we are, what we want or need, struggling to find meaning in life.

I know that no two people are the same, and I tailor my approach to meet you as an individual and understand your story. I know personally finding the right therapist and approach can be confusing and sometimes stressful, which is why you can arrange a telephone call to talk through your queries and what approach may suit your needs.
